8:00 a.m. – Arrival of the Desjardins crew
9:30 a.m. – Warm up for the runners (main stage)
10 a.m. – 5k and 10k walk/run
12 p.m. – Closing

We will be using a wave system for the 5k and 10k to organize participants. The runners will leave first and the walkers will follow.
4. EVENT LOCATION
(Confederation Park – Chenail Island) – We suggest that participants arrive about 45 minutes in advance.
We ask that each participant closely follow the instructions of the volunteers on site in order to ensure a smooth progress.
7. SERVICES AVAILABLE DURING THE EVENT
Here is what will be available during the Desjardins Challenge event:
Each participant will receive a t-shirt with the 2019 Desjardins Challenge colours in the participant’s kit. The kit will be available at the Caisse Desjardins of Hawkesbury, Thursday, September 12th, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. or Friday, September 13th, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
If a participant did not receive the kit (due to a late registration or unavailability for the dates mentioned above), it will be available on the day of the event at the Desjardins tent.
Snacks (soft bars, fruit, etc.) will be offered on site.
There will be two water stations on the 5k course and three water stations on the 10k course. We suggest you bring a bottle of water and snacks if you think being hungry during the event.
